The Jordan Restaurant:one of South Africa’s top three best restaurants
The Jordan Restaurant at Jordan Wine Estate, Stellenbosch, may have only been in business for a year, but it has already been rated one of South Africa’s top three best restaurants out of a selection of over 3000 at the 2010 Eat Out Top 10 Restaurant Awards. Also in the top three were Rust en Vrede and The Tasting Room at Le Quartier Francais.
Top ingredient chef George Jardine, who was named the Eat Out Johnnie Walker South African Chef of the Year in 2007, focuses on locally sourced, seasonal fare, including herbs and vegetables from his kitchen garden. Like High Timber, its Thameside London sister restaurant (which is co-owned by Kathy and Gary Jordan), it features a walk-in cheese room and showcases exclusive vintages of the Jordan Wine Estate Cape Winemakers Guild wines.

Thanks for the suggestion. I know Lance Foyster quite well. However I have just found the Wine Society are now listing an Encruzado for £15.50
