Yet more patriotic news, this one vinous, from Drink Britain

In August, I reported that Cornwall-based producer, Camel Valley, won the International Wine Challenge England Trophy for the second successive year and had also picked up the International Wine Challenge International Trophy for the Best Sparkling Rosé against global opposition, including Champagne (see here). 

This week, a new website dedicated to British drinks, Drink Britain (founded by wine writer Susanna Forbes, pictured), brings word that Camel Valley Pinot Noir 2008 has now gone on to win the title of Top International Sparkling Rosé at Bollicine del Mundo, sponsored by Euposia, Italy’s leading wine magazine.  Royal wedding advisers take note!
