Sauvignon Blanc storage & service: keep it cool!
Sauvignon fans will find this news report here interesting. To summarise, research by Auckland University has concluded that Sauvignon Blanc retains its fruity characteristics for much longer if you keep it cool during storage. Apparently, temperature has a greater impact on fruitiness than oxidation. Very useful if you follow up my scoop on the £4 off deal on De Grendel Sauvignon (see here) with a bulk purchase at Oddbins!
