Reflections of Vintage Port: a tasting of Niepoort & Ramos Pinto Vintage Ports 1924-2011

1977 has its detractors, but the Niepoort greatly impressed.

I often feel that lady luck is smiling on me given some of the fabulous tasting opportunities which come my way. This tasting of Ramos Pinto and Niepoort Vintage Ports made between 1924 and 2011 was no exception, even though the conditions of the tasting (more speed dating than a reflection) were far from ideal! It seems churlish to grumble….
