A chance to taste 20 vintages of Sandeman Vintage Port
Tonight, I’ll be tasting 20 Vintage Ports from Sandeman, including the outstanding vintages of 1944, 1955, 1963, 1977, 1994 & 2011. Having tasted the truly outstanding book ends – Sandeman Vintage Port 1944 and Sandeman Vintage Port 2011 – I am much looking forward to “filling in the gaps.”
And you too can taste these Ports which have been shipped to the UK especially for this event. For a limited period of time and subject to availability, the wines will be available to purchase by the glass for customers of The Sign of The Don, St Swithin’s Lane, London EC4N.
My advice? Go and linger over the Ports, not the opportunity. I very much doubt that they will last very long! And make sure you order the trio of Mrs Sandeman’s croquetas on the side.

Hi Sarah, Thanks for this great post! Reading your reviews makes me happy that I have a few bottles of (the regular) Noval from 2015 onwards!! All
Thanks for the suggestion. I know Lance Foyster quite well. However I have just found the Wine Society are now listing an Encruzado for £15.50
